If one of your goals is to maximize your time and efforts in the gym and you’re limited on time, I highly recommend a bodybuilding workout that targets your larger muscles whenever you do make it into the gym.

Focus on the following muscle groups in your bodybuilding workout: back, legs, chest and maybe shoulders.

Training these muscle groups results in more calories burned per minute then just about any other gym activity and it will also result in a faster metabolism over the long haul due to the increased muscle on your frame. This bodybuilding workout will not only help you pack on muscle and bulk up but it will also help you lose weight

Another good reason to train your large muscles over smaller muscle like your biceps or calves is that they recover quicker then your smaller muscles and the process is not as taxing on your system. If you’re looking to pack on muscle and bulk up then this is exactly what you want to be doing with your bodybuilding workout.
