No Carbohydrates Before Bedtime – Weight Loss Program

This may be common sense to most of you but your body burns less fuel when you are sleeping so consuming a plate full of rice or a loaf of bread (both just full of carbohydrates) before you hit the sack is probably a bad idea if you’re looking to stay lean and for your weight loss program…

Matter of fact, consuming a large portion of carbohydrates before you go to bed will probably increase the amount of fat your body stores in the middle of night.

Not exactly what you were looking for in a weight loss program right?

If you’re looking to stay lean and you’re looking to keep the fat off then it’s probably a good idea to avoid all carbohydrates before going to bed as a weight loss program

Instead go to bed and have just a small protein meal (cottage cheese, protein shake, chicken breast) and make sure you don’t consume any carbohydrates at least 3 hours before you go to bed. All these little components of the weight loss program add up to a system that prevent your body from storing fat as well as burning it.

Bummer. I love eating popcorn at night an hour or two before bed. I know it’s bad, but…
