Change Up Your Bodybuilding Workout
Inevitably after you’ve been using the same bodybuilding workout for a few weeks your body begins to adapt and your gains start to slow down or even worse plateau.
The best thing to do when you notice your body start to adapt to your current bodybuilding workout (you can usually tell because your muscles get progressively less and less sore after each workout) is switch to a different bodybuilding workout.
If you haven’t already tried it yet, switching up the order of your exercises is also a good idea to try to avoid stagnation in the gym. If you need ideas for different exercises or different workouts, they’re as close as your local library or the neighborhood book store. There several fitness and bodybuilding magazines that will have a plethore of routines and workouts to choose from.
Something else you may want to do to avoid stagnation in your bodybuilding workout is to be flexible. If you’re in the gym and you’re just not feeling a certain exercise just stop doing it and move on. Stick to the exercises and routines that produce a pump for you and make your muscles feel good in your bodybuilding workout.
