Having trouble staying motivated?
Here’s something you may want to try to stay motivated to not miss any workouts…
Reward yourself every time you do make it to the gym. Here’s what I did:
I was eying this set of golf clubs that I wanted and basically I told myself that I would give myself $5 for every workout (I would keep) until I had accumulated enough to buy the clubs.
You know there are days when all you need is a little something to get your behind in the gym and on most days this was all the incentive I needed to get in there…
More tomorrow on what to do when you really don’t feel like working out.

Did you know that oranges are full of phyto-chemicals which are know to fight cancer?
And did you also know that those same phyto-chemicals are also known to protect against heart disease and high blood pressure?
And if that wasn’t enough reason to make oranges a mainstay of your diet, new research is now showing that people who eat 1 orange a day are also less likely to develop diabetes.
Oranges make a great in-between meal snack for me…
I like to snack on them in-between meals (you know when you’re feeling hungry and that Snickers Bar in the vending machine is looking better by the minute) when I’m starting to feel hungry and I don’t want to ruin my appetite.
Try it.

In order to lose weight, you have to burn more calories then you consume.
Pretty simple, right?
Want to know how you can take it one step further?
To enhance that simple formula all you have to do is raise your metabolic rate so you can burn more calories throughout the day - even when you’re not exercising!
So how do you go about doing this?
Eat six meals a day!
By eating six meals a day you’ll be putting your metabolism in overdrive and you’ll be keeping it there all day.
The six meals don’t all have to be full course meals… In fact you should probably stick to 3 full course meals and 3 healthy snacks. Yogurt, fruit, protein shakes all make great healthy snacks between meals.
The key is to keep you body fed at all times and to keep the calories coming so your body has fuel to burn at all times.
